About Us

Built on the Rock. United in Fatherhood. Driven by Legacy.

We're starting in Fort Worth, Texas, with plans to grow throughout Fort Worth and beyond.

Our Mission

Legacy Fathers United is a community initiative dedicated to supporting single fathers and their children through practical resources, mentorship, community connections, and meaningful experiences.

Our mission is to help fathers overcome challenges, strengthen their relationships with their children, access opportunities, and build lasting legacies for future generations.

No matter what your family situation looks like, you don’t have to do it alone.

What we set out to do

We support single fathers seeking brotherhood, practical resources, and opportunities to strengthen their families.

01

Connect fathers with help

Connect fathers with trusted legal resources, employment opportunities, financial education, counseling, parenting education, and essential community services.

02

Build a brotherhood

Create a community where fathers can encourage one another, share experiences, learn from each other, and know they aren’t alone.

03

Strengthen fatherhood

Help dads develop their parenting skills, confidence, emotional well-being, and ability to show up consistently for their children.

04

Create lasting memories

Organize father-child outings, outdoor adventures, sports, educational experiences, and activities that build connection without financial barriers becoming the deciding factor.

05

Help fathers build a future

Connect dads with opportunities to improve their careers, strengthen their finances, pursue personal growth, and build a more stable future for their families.

From our founder

“As a single dad, I understand that it can be difficult. The transition is not easy and we don’t always have all the answers, but it’s important to know that we have a community that stands with us and supports us, and a God that loves us.”

Daniel Smith

Founder, Legacy Fathers United

That is the heart of this organization: practical help, honest community, and no father left to figure it all out alone.

Our approach

Service

Take action to help fathers connect with practical support.

Compassion

Meet fathers with respect, understanding, and encouragement.

Integrity

Be honest about what we offer and where we are in our development.

Responsibility

Help fathers show up consistently and build a better future for their children.

Brotherhood

No one does this alone. We build networks of real support.

Personal faith, community service

Daniel’s personal Christian faith informs his values of service, compassion, integrity, responsibility, and brotherhood. Legacy Fathers United is not a church or religious ministry.

Encouragement and Scripture may be shared as an optional part of his story. No one is pressured to participate in religious activities or required to hold a particular belief to access resources.
